THE BASIS FOR A GOOD RESULT
About the service
The suspended ceiling allows the formation of a new level below the existing ceiling. Before installation, the height, the supporting base, the routes and the positions of the lighting are specified.
Profiles, hangers, fastening and boards are selected by system. The location of the structure depends on the cladding and design loads; there is no one installation scheme for all ceilings.
Luminaires, revisions and other openings are planned together with the structure. After the installation, the joints are treated and prepared for putty and paint according to the desired finish.
Materials and preparation
We specify the finished level, the supporting base and the tracks above the ceiling. Luminaires and revisions are planned along with the construction.
Profiles, hangers and fastening are selected according to the cladding and design loads. One mounting scheme is not used for all ceilings.
Why careful preparation matters
A suspended ceiling starts with the supporting substrate and an agreed finished level. Unplanned lights, openings or heavy items may require changes to the framing after installation. Service routes and maintenance access are therefore agreed before boarding. Fixings, alignment and perimeter details are checked. Joint treatment and finishing take account of the future lighting, which can highlight surface unevenness.
